Our Approach
Traditional Physical Therapy has a high success rate, but it doesn’t work for everyone. When it’s not successful, we must utilize integrative techniques to find and treat the cause of the symptoms, which may not be the area of the complaint. At Abundant Health we not only look at your musculoskeletal imbalance, but we also assess your overall well being (your sleep, digestion, and emotional/mental state) which can be a driving source of your discomfort and imbalance. This means that we are not treating the diagnosis or symptoms, but assessing for qualities and bodily functions that are out of balance (too little/too much) which then cause symptoms. We then use natural techniques to encourage a balanced state.
AyurvedaAyurveda, a natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 3,000 years ago. Ayurveda is based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance in a person's body. Jenni uses Ayurveda to encourage certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, and the environment. Testimonials
I have had the chance to work with Jenni several times over the years on chronic pain. After seeing many various practitioners, Jenni's curated and gentle approach is what helped my body heal. Jenni is very thoughtful, attentive and most importantly subtle yet precise in her care. She had me focus on tending to tissues and muscles that I did not know my body even had. I found that the care Jenni prescribed was enjoyable and thus easily received by the body. It was never overwhelming and I quickly learned that Jenni was able to identify exactly what the body needed to support its healing process. For those who have searched and tried and have little success to show for it, I encourage you to spend some time working with Jenni. I am confident you will notice real and lasting results.

Both of my knees were painful and swollen. It was so painful that I could only walk 4 blocks before I would have to stop. I had already been to traditional PT and taken the medicines that were recommended by my doctor, but the pain persisted. Jenni took a look at my overall lifestyle and recommended I make some changes in my routine diet. After 2 weeks of some minor diet changes, the swelling was considerably less and more important the pain had resolved! I am now back to my routine walking of 2 miles without pain!! Jenni has been a lifesaver!

I had been suffering with indigestion and could not lie down flat at night due to "heartburn" sensations. I would frequently sit up reclined to sleep. I was given acid reflux medicine, but it did not seem to help my situation. Jenni took a thorough assessment of my season of life and lifestyle habits. She educated me about how my eating habits could contribute to this sensation. With some spot on questioning, she taught me how to be aware of my appetite and how to eat accordingly. It sounds like a simple no-brainer but some subtle shifts in awareness and habit changes made all the difference. I have followed her recs ever sense and no longer need to prop up to sleep. I highly recommend Jenni to learn about the subtleties of our body which can make huge difference in our everyday life.
